Not a Rapiers gig, but I hear Colin Pryce-Jones is moonlighting with the band Rockin' Horse for Sixties Icons in Concert, starring Jet Harris, Billie Davis, Mike Berry and Jess Conrad on 2 November at the Theatre Royal, Windsor, Berkshire. Note: The Royal what's on page mistakenly lists the date as 4 November and a different performing line-up.
Not that it matters... I am certain last fall I saw absolutely fabulous Jane Horrocks in Alan Ayckbourn's comedy Absurd Person Singular at the same Theatre Royal, a luverly old hall, dripping with decades of thespian charm and an actual stone's throw from the Castle.
Hi Greg
It's definitely Sunday. November 2 and the line-up is Jet Harris, Billie Davis, Mike Berry, Jess Conrad and Rockin' Horse (featuring Colin Pryce-Jones of The Rapiers). Rockin' Horse are of course Mac Poole's band who have backed many a big name on Solid Gold national tours.
