Rapiers Join Juke Box Heroes Greenwich Show

Perusing the latest Thunderbolt, the magazine of record for the Joe Meek Society, I noticed The Rapiers are backing John Leyton at a Juke Box Heroes soiree with The Honeycombs on 30 November at Greenwich Town Social Club, Blackwell Lane, London.

In other Meek-related news, the Gloucestershire town of Newent is staging its first annual Joe Meek Festival to honour its native son, 26-28 October, featuring talks, film, exhibits and The Tornados on stage.
