Shadowmania is a day of shadow music, why should the Rapiers play anything but. The Rapiers have in the past played Saturday Night at the Duckpond at the request of Bruce Welch, other than that Shadows is the order of the day.

Hi All.
Just to add to Nathan's post. We are there to pay tribute-along with each band, each year-to the Shadows, and feel it would be inappropriate to foist our material on people who want to hear Shadows' songs and tunes. In addition we try to bring something different along by including some of the vocal numbers. When a number of bands are playing, quite obviously everyone wants to play their favourites, but there would be a good deal of crossover and repetition which would make for a less varied, and, therefore, less interesting show, if this were the case. For this reason, quite rightly, Bruce has the final say on who will do what. Jet's set includes his hits and features as a Shadow and in his own right. It would be, I feel, wrong for any of the features of this set to be left out. Jet not doing Nivram, Diamonds, Scarlett O' Hara, Applejack, 36-24-36 etc at a day celebrating this music. Um, no!

Although I do go with ya on Footstomp, Greg-Fantastic number!
