A dire fate best avoided at all points in time and space, as John Tuck learned at a City of London Police charity gala Saturday at the Grange Hotel.

Wisely, our John escaped percussive extermination by ducking into a Tardis (coordinates: Soho, 1961) discretely tucked behind the Tower of London.
