Call me a slowcoach.
I've finally reshuffled the four-tune musical deck on my Rapiers MySpace outpost. For your sampling pleasure are:
- On My Mind. This B side of Buckleshoe Stomp is a beat-fantastic remake of a neglected Mike Berry 1964 single.
- Move It Baby. One of the standout tracks on Return of The Rapiers, this Simon Scott rocker shows our lads in a sure groove.
- Lies. Merseyside drive at its finest, this Remo Four classic recycles a Walk, Don't Run chord progression under vocal harmonies straight from the Cavern.
- Saturday Night at the Duckpond. The Rapiers' calling card, this Fenderised updating of Swan Lake never fails to dazzle live—quite rightly, it's taken from a night at the London Palladium.
